Similarly, stock price of Menchhiyam Hydropower Company rose 9.01 percent on the day. Meanwhile, Unique Nepal Laghubitta fell the most by 3.60 percent in the market on Monday.
On the basis of transaction amount, National Hydropower is at the top position on this day. The company's shares worth Rs 931.9 million were traded on the day. Similarly, shares worth Rs 491.9 million of Ridi Power Development were traded on the day, while shares worth Rs 450 million of Reliance Spinning Mills were traded on the day.
Out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of 6 sub-groups have increased while the indices of 7 sub-groups have decreased. The hotel and tourism sub-group index increased by 1.02 percent on the day. The indices of hydropower, investment, production and processing, mutual fund and non-life insurance sub-group have increased slightly. The trade sub-group index decreased by more than 1.62 percent. The indices of trading, life insurance, finance, development banks and banking sub-groups saw a minimal decline.
