According to the department, the fare has been increased in the inter-provincial public transport including cargo vehicles by 5 percent that will come into effect from Wednesday.
Earlier, the fare was increased on April 8. The Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport had given its consent to increase the fare on April 25. Accordingly, the fare of public vehicles has been increased, according to the department.
