Similarly, the sensitive index decreased by 0.70 points, while the float index decreased by 0.36 points and the sensitive float index decreased by 0.26 points.
Along with index, the transaction amount has also decreased. Today, a total of 5,643,288 units shares worth Rs 2.807 billion were traded in 42,176 trades of 339 stocks.
On the day, stock price of Asian Hydropower rose the most by 11.42 percent. Similarly, the stock price of SY Panel Nepal increased by 4.5 percent on the day, while the price of other shares that has increased by less than 4.5 percent. The share price of Dhaulagiri Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha fell by 11.17 percent on the day. Similarly, the share price of Jhapa Energy fell by 9.5 percent on the day.
On the basis of transaction amount, SY Panel Nepal topped the list on the day. Stocks worth Rs 277.9 million were traded on the day. Similarly, shares of Ridi Hydropower worth Rs 100 million were traded on the day, while the turnover amount of Sahas Energy crossed Rs 95 million.
Out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of 11 sub-groups decreased while the indices of two sub-groups increased. The indices of the trading sub-groups increased by 1.50 percent on the day. Similarly, the indices of the manufacturing and processing sub-groups increased by a marginal point on the day. Banking, development banks, finance, hotel and tourism, hydropower, investment, life insurance, microfinance, mutual funds, non-life insurance and other sub-groups saw a small decrease on the day.
