The commission has also directed the officials and employees who have been appointed or retired during this period to submit the details of the property in the country and abroad in the name of themselves and their family members.
The Commission has taken this process forward as per the decision of the Government of Nepal and the mandate published in the Gazette.
Key officers to submit details
Political Leadership: Then His Majesty's Government and Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, Ministers, State Ministers and Assistant Ministers of Government of Nepal.
Legislature: Members of Parliament and members of the Constituent Assembly.
Provincial and local levels: Provincial chiefs, chief ministers, ministers, provincial assembly members and chiefs, deputy chiefs, chairpersons and vice-chairpersons of local levels.
Security and Civil Service: Gazetted First Class (Joint Secretary) or above officers of Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and Civil Service.
Constitutional Bodies and Diplomatic Sector: Chiefs and officials of constitutional bodies, ambassadors of Nepal and employees of diplomatic missions.
Banking and Corporations: Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, Board of Directors, Deputy Governor and senior officials of the Corporations and Development Committees of the Government Owned Corporations.
The commission has asked them to submit the details within 30 days from the date of publication of the notice. The Commission has made it clear that action will be taken as per the law if the details are deliberately filled in or if the details are not submitted within the stipulated time.
