Later tonight, the weather will remain generally cloudy in the mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces. The weather will be partly cloudy in other mountainous and hilly regions as well as in the Tarai region of Koshi Province and mainly clear in other Tarai regions.
There is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain and snowfall at a few places in the mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces and at one or two places in the mountainous region of Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces.
There is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain with thunder and lightning at a few places in the Tarai region of Koshi Province.
Meteorological Analysis by the Department says that at present, Nepal is under the partial influence of a western trough in the upper atmosphere, along with local winds and easterly winds. (RSS)
