NEPSE Index Loses 26.2 Points

On the first trading day of the week, the NEPSE index again decreased. On Monday, the NEPSE index decreased by 26.29 points to close at 2,627.11 points.

Similarly, the sensitive index decreased by 3.53 points, while the float index decreased by 1.73 points and the sensitive float index decreased by 1.34 points.

Along with index, the transaction amount has also decreased. A total of 7,540,418 units of shares worth Rs 3.55 billion were traded in 46,246 trades on the day.

Today, shares of three stocks including Snow Rivers, Sanigad Hydro and Kalanga Hydro were traded at positive circuit levels. Similarly, the share price of Corporate Development Bank increased by 11.5 percent on the day. Meanwhile, shares of Three Star Hydropower fell the most by 13.79 percent on the day.

On the basis of turnover, Nepal Investment Bank Debentures 2084 was at the top position on the day, up 8.5 percent. The debentures worth Rs 539.4 million were traded on the day. Similarly, shares of Central Finance worth Rs 155 million were traded on this day, while shares of NRN Infrastructure and Development worth Rs 130 million were traded.

On this day, the indices of all 13 sub-groups have decreased. Among them, the trading sub-group index decreased the most by 3.15 percent. Banking, finance, and manufacturing and processing sub-group indices fell more than 1 percent on the day.
