On Friday, the NEPSE index increased by 12.96 points to close at 2685.54 points. Likewise, the Sensitive Index increased by 2.44 points, while the Float Index increased by 1.00 points and the Sensitive Float Index increased by 0.97 points.
Along with inded, the transaction amount has also increased on this day. A total of 8,851,216 units of shares worth Rs 3.75 billion were traded in 46,752 trades on the day.
On the day, shares of Everest Color were traded at a positive circuit level. The company's share price rose by Rs 170.70 to Rs 1,309.30 on the day. Similarly, the share price of Laxmi Value Fund 2 increased by 8 percent and the share price of Joshi Hydropower Development Company increased by 7 percent. Meanwhile, shares of Bottlers Nepal (Terai) fell the most by 5.33 percent on the day.
On the basis of transaction amount, Ridi Power Company is at the top on this day. Shares worth Rs 172.6 million were traded on the day. Similarly, Global IME Bank's turnover crossed Rs 150 million while Central Finance Bank's share transaction crossed Rs 150 million.
Out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of 11 sub-groups have increased while the indices of two sub-groups have decreased. Except for the non-life insurance and trading sub-groups, the indices of all other sub-groups have increased slightly.
