Dhital shared that the industry has leased the land for 40 years and the plans are afoot to operate the industry within three months now. Dhital hopes to meet the short supply of milk in the market adding that only 5,000 litres of milk is supplied against the demand of 7,000 litres.
He further said that the quantity of milk would be distributed in the region even by supplying from Butwal as it was not possible just by collecting the milk from the farmers in Surkhet and surrounding.
Likewise, Internal Affairs and Law Minister of Karnali Province Naresh Bhandari and Minister for Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives Bimala KC have also made their promises to extend needed assistance for the industry on the part of the province government.
