Sajha Yatayat to add 20 more buses

Sajha Yatayat, a cooperative public transport organisation, is set to add additional 20 buses in coordination with the Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

In this regard, buses have been brought in and its inauguration ceremony has been set for July 1 at City Hall, said Sajha Yatayat's manager Mahendra Raj Pandey. Route permit has already been taken, and its operation would take place right after its inauguration, he added.

The new busses will ply along New Bus Park-Jadibuti-Kamalbinayak and Chabahil-Tribhuvan International Airport-Lagankhel, he said, adding that coordination has been made with local level in this regard.

Established in 2016 BS, the organisation saw its interruption in between the time before resuming in 2070 BS. Seventy-one buses of Sajha Yatayat are on operation along various routes on a regular basis.
