NEPSE Gives Final Approval to 8 brokers for Margin Lending

Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has provided final approval to seven brokerage companies to initiate margin lending.

Following the approval, the seven brokers can provide margin lending to their customers.

NEPSE allowed margin lending to Crystal Kanchanjunga Securities, Vision Securities, Shree Krishna Securities, Nepal Stock House, Primo Securities, Secured Securities, Deepshikha Securities and Kohinoor Securities.

According to Murahari Parajuli, Spokesperson of NEPSE, additional 11 brokerage companies have sought approval for the same which will be approved after fulfilling the due procedure.

The companies which sought approval are Nasa Securities, Sumeru Securities, Online Securities, Aryatara Investment, Imperial Securities and Divya Securities.

Government Fails to Collect Targeted Revenue; Capital Expenditure Nears 70%

The government has failed to collect targeted revenue in the current FY. As per the Office of Auditor General (OAG), the government collected 83.66 percent revenue till July 15, a day before the closing of the current FY.
