Nepal Investment Bank Increases Net Profit by 19.93%

Nepal Investment Bank (NIB) has increased its net profit by 19.93 percent to Rs 844.4 million in the first quarter of the current FY compared to the corresponding period of the last FY.

As per the financial report published under NFRS format, the bank has distributable profit of Rs 423.7 million.

The bank with Rs 12.86 billion in paid-up capital has reserve fund of Rs 10.42 billion, share premium of Rs 105.6 million and retained earnings of Rs 2.90 billion.

During the period, the bank collected deposit of Rs 151.28 billion and extended loan of Rs 130.03 billion. Similarly, the bank earned net interest income of Rs 1.52 billion and operating profit of Rs 1.20 billion.

During the review period, the bank maintained non-performing loan of 2.84, EPS of Rs 26.25 and net worth per share of Rs 42.49 and P/E ratio of 16.88 times.
