Synergy Power Raises Income from Sales; 40% Power Goes Wasted

In the first quarter of the current FY, Synergy Power Development Company (SPDL) has earned a net profit of Rs 87.8 million compared to Rs 77.3 million of the corresponding period of the last FY.

As per the company, nearly 40 percent of power generated by the company is going wasted since the last 7 years due to incompletion of construction of Singati sub-station and singati-lamasanghu 132 KV transmission line. However, it expects that the transmission line will complete this FY.

In the review period, the company earned a net profit of Rs 41.9 jmillion compared to Rs 15.7 million of the last FY.

The company with Rs 700 million in paid-up capital has reserve loss of Rs 67.5 million. The company has ESP OF Rs 5.99 and net worth per share of Rs 90.34.
