Reliance Finance in loss

Reliance Finance (RLFL) has incurred a loss of Rs 10 million in the first quarter of the current FY. The finance company was in loss of Rs 14.9 million in the corresponding period of the last FY as well.

In the review period, the company collected a deposit of Rs 4.24 billion and extended loan of Rs 3.75 billion. The company earned Rs 59 million in net interest income.

The company with Rs 830.1 million in paid-up capital has reserve fund of Rs 151.7 million and shareholders fund of Rs 56 million.

The company has bad debt ratio of 3.60 percent, EPS of (Rs 4.83) and net worth per share of Rs 122.85.

Nepal has confirmed 380 new cases of COVID-19 on August 9.  With this, the number of COVID-19 cases has totaled 22,972 in the country, of which, 6,544 are active cases.
