Pedestrians requested to use service lanes, alternative routes on December 6, 7

The Metropolitan Traffic Police Division has asked pedestrians to use service lanes and alternative routes along Kalanki-Suryabinayak route in view of cycling competition scheduled for December 6 and 7 as part of the ongoing 13th South Asian Games.

As part of the competition, on December 6, cycling will take place along Kalanki-Koteshwor route and on December 7 along Kalanki-Suryabinayak.

In a notice issued on Wednesday regarding the competition, Senior Superintendent of Police Bhim Prasad Dhakal asked pedestrians to use service lanes along the Kalanki-Koteshwor route and use alternative routes like Jadibuti-Old Thimi-Byasi-Kamalbinayak-Chayamasingh-Jagati.

He also requested for help to manage traffics along the routes.
