Out of the total number detected today, 36 cases are from Kathmandu, 4 from Bhaktapur and 4 from Lalitpur.
Similarly, in the last 24 hours, 140 patients were discharged from hospital after recovery from the deadly disease. The number of recovered cases has totaled 16,793 in the country.
