Active COVID-19 Cases Pass 20,000 in Nepal

The active COVID-19 cases in Nepal have surpassed 20,000 in Nepal. On Tuesday, Nepal confirmed 1,513 new COVID-19 cases.  With this, the number of COVID-19 cases has reached 76,258 in the country. Out of them, 20,396 are active cases.

Out of the total detected cases today, 934 are from Kathmandu Valley. Kathmandu reported 747, Lalitpur 114 and Bhaktapur reported 73 infections.

Similarly, in the last 24 hours, 731 patients have been discharged from hospital after recovery. The number of total recovered cases has reached 55,371 in the country.

Meanwhile, 10 individuals lost their life due to COVID-19 in Nepal in the last 24 hours. The number of death due to the deadly disease has reached 491 in the country.
