Nepal Reports 2,428 New COVID-19 cases in Last 24 Hours

Nepal has reported 2,428 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours out of 10,448 tests including 10,001 PCR and 447 antigen tests conducted in the last 24 hours.

Out of the total confirmed cases, 987 are from Kathmandu, 106 from Lalitpur and 81 from Bhaktapur making a total of 1,174 from the valley.

The day saw the highest number of cases between the ages 20-29 with 575 cases and 555 in between ages 30-39. Meanwhile, 188 cases have been recorded between the ages of 10-19.

As per the Ministry of Health and Population, 5 people lost their life due to COVID-19 while 252 have recovered during the period.

With this, the number of COVID-19 cases has reached 292,152 and death 3,117.
