Which Bank has Highest Investment in Real Estate Sector?

In the first three months of the current FY, commercial banks have invested more than Rs 12 billion in real estate sector. As per the data of NRB, the banks have invested Rs 171.41 billion in real estate sector. In the last FY, such investment was Rs 159 billion.

The banks increased the investment by 3 percent in the last one month. The banks which invested Rs 165.64 billion in the sector by mid-August increase the amount by Rs 5.77 billion within a month.

Out of the all banks, NIC Asia Bank has invested the highest amount of Rs 15.59 billion in the real estate followed by Nabil Bank with Rs 14.34 billion and Rastriya Banijya Bank with Rs 15.88 billion.

Meanwhile, Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank has the lowest investment in real estate of Rs 1.29 billion.
