The board barred non-life insurance companies from distributing cash dividends until the full settlement of COVIDL-19 claims, said Raju Raman Poudel to Merolagani.com
For now, the board directed the companies to complete claim settlement of COVID-19, added Poudel.
He said that the board has not barred the companies from distributing stock dividends though.
