The agreement was signed by Ishwor Lal Rajbhandari, Chairman of Dhaulagiri Laghubitta and Suman Prasad Shrestha, Chairman of Khaptad Laghubitta.
As per the agreement, the joint entity will be named Dhaulagiri Laghubitta and will be chaired by Ishwor Lal Rajbhandari.
Along with the merger agreement, the companies have also formed a merger committee with members Hari Prasad Sharma and Srijana Thapa of Dhaulagiri Laghubitta and Randev Krishna Shrestha and Dabla Bahadur Shah of Khaptad Laghubitta.
Both companies have recently issue initial public offering. Dhaulagiri Laghubitta issued IPO on August 9-14 while Khaptad Laghubitta issue IPO on August 24-28.
