He was released after posting a bail bond of Rs 2 million set by the Patan High Court. Sandeep Lamichhane spent 91 days in custody.
Earlier on January 12, a joint bench of judges Dhruva Raj Nanda and Ramesh Dhakal on Thursday ordered to release the former captain on a bail with conditions.
