As per Tej Prasad Sapkota, by the end of the deadline, two applications for new stock exchange and two for commodity exchange has been submitted at SEBON.
SEBON sought applications for operating a stock exchange and two commodity exchange.
Today is the last day to apply for the same.
On Sunday, National Stock Exchange of Nepal applied for new stock exchange. Previously, on Friday, Himalayan Stock Exchange had submitted its application for the operation of new stock exchange.
Himalayan Stock Exchange has ownership of Pashupati Murarka, Bhawani Rana, Shekhar Golchha and Directors of Himalayan Re-insurance.
Meanwhile, National Stock Exchange has ownership of Upendra Mahato, Jiva Lamichane, Badri KC, Kul Acharya along with Siddhartha Group and Agni Group.
As per board, Multi Derivative Exchange and Multi Asset and Derivative Exchange have sought permission to operate Commodity Exchange.
