Deprosc Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha has obtained final approval from Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) to acquire Aadarsha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha on May 17.
The annual general meetings of both companies have already approved the acquisition proposal.
The companies have agreed on a swap ratio of 1:1.
Following the acquisition, the paid-up capital of the joint entity will reach Rs 1.55 billion.
According to the third quarter financial reports of national level development banks, they have recorded impressive growth.
