Mahaprasad Adhikhari, Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set 100 percent risk weight for margin lending upto Rs 5 million.
Issuing the monetary policy, Governor Adhikari said that the risk weight for margin lending upto Rs 5 million has been set at 100 percent.
Previously, margin lending upto Rs 2.5 million attracted 100 percent risk weight.
The Nepal stock market is set to remain closed today on September 21.
