In a press release released by the ministry on Tuesday, the ministry has urged all related parties to use resources only according to priorities and needs while spending the budget for the current fiscal year.
"It has become imperative to cut unnecessary expenses to utilize the state's limited resources effectively and responsibly," reads the statement.
The ministry has set out various points that will be implemented with immediate effect to control wasteful spending in government offices and maintain financial discipline.
