The bus with registration number plate Bhe 1 Kha 4373, heading from Nepalgunj to Kathmandu, overturned after the driver lost control in the night, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Ripendra Singh of the District Police Office.
He stated that the passengers were rescued immediately after the accident. Among the injured, 17 are being treated at Sanjeevani Hospital in Chandrauta and three at the Basic Hospital.
According to Police Inspector Santosh Ghimire of the Chandrouta Ward Police Office, six others are receiving treatment in Butwal. He stated that an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident. (RSS)
