NEPSE Index and Transaction Volume Decline

On the second trading day of the week, the NEPSE index has again decreased. NEPSE index has been decreasing since the last three trading days.

On Tuesday, the NEPSE index decreased by 6.31 points to close at 2,705.45 points. Similarly, the sensitive index decreased by 1.48 points, while the float index decreased by 0.53 points and the sensitive float index decreased by 0.57 points.

Along with NEPSE, the transaction amount has also decreased. A total of 10,708,596 shares worth Rs 4.04 billion were traded in 48,116 trades on the day.

On this day, the shares of two stocks were traded at the positive circuit level. Shares of Sopan Pharmaceuticals and Apollo Hydropower were traded in the positive circuit level on the day. Similarly, the share price of Dolti Power Company has increased by more than 6.5 percent and the share price of Bungal Hydro has increased by 5.5 percent. On this day, the decline rate of stocks is less than 5 percent.

On the basis of turnover, Ankhu Khola Hydropower Company topped the list on the day. The company's shares worth Rs 31.99 crore were traded on the day. Similarly, shares of Siddhartha Bank worth Rs 18 crore were traded on the day, while the turnover of Reliance Spinning Mills crossed Rs 15 crore.

Out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of two sub-groups have increased while the indices of 11 sub-groups have decreased. On this day, the indices of mutual funds and trading sub-groups increased modestly. The decline rate of the sub-groups that decreased on this day was less than 0.5 percent.
