The local rural municipality has kicked off the project from the Balighat area, aiming to enhance the region's appeal for visitors. Prakash Ojha, the chairman of the rural municipality, shared that this initiative is all about blending the area's natural beauty with its rich religious significance and tourism potential.
"With the stunning views along the riverbank, we’re constructing trek route to link various religious sites, natural wonders, and tourist attractions," he explained. As part of a long-term vision, the rural municipality plans to connect the route to several key locations, including Balighat Aapbagaincha, Kaligandaki Bar-Peepal Swamichautari, Gaindaalpa Waterfall, and Chamkeodar.
The initial phase of the project has already begun, and construction will proceed in stages, with efforts to make the route more organized by utilizing manpower through the National Employment Programme. (RSS)
