On Monday, the NEPSE index decreased by 16.54 points to close at 2,632.96 points. Similarly, the Sensitive Index decreased by 1.84 points, while the Float Index decreased by 1.02 points and the Sensitive Float Index decreased by 0.58 points.
Along with index, the transaction amount has also decreased. A total of 7,699,227 units of shares worth Rs 2.67 billion were traded in 44,942 trades on the day.
On this day, the shares of four stocks were traded at positive circuit levels. Shares of Taksar Pikhuwa Khola Hydropower, Yambaling Hydropower, Snow Rivers and Dhaulagiri Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha were traded in the positive circuit level on the day. Meanwhile, the share price of Swabhiman Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha fell the most by 5.83 percent on the day.
On the basis of transaction, Global IME Bank topped the list on the day. Shares worth Rs 88.3 million were traded on the day. Similarly, shares of Sopan Pharmaceuticals worth Rs 88 million were traded on the day, while NRN Infrastructure and Development had crossed Rs 87 million.
On this day, the indices of all 13 sub-groups have decreased. Among them, the non-life insurance sub-group index decreased the most by 1.39 percent. Likewise, the indices of the sub-groups of finance, hotel and tourism and manufacturing and processing decreased by more than 1 percent on the day.
