On Wednesday, the NEPSE index increased by 44.59 points to close at 2652.93 points. Similarly, the Sensitive Index increased by 5.77 points, Float Index by 2.82 points and the Sensitive Float Index by 2.04 points.
Along with index, the transaction amount has also increased on the day. On the day, NEPSE recorded turnover of Rs 3.86 billion from trading of 9,547,678 units of shares in 56,850 trades on the day.
On this day, Snow Rivers was traded in the positive circuit level with 14.99 percent growth. Similarly, CYC Laghubitta logged 14.22 percent and Bhujung Hydropower logged 13.90 percent growth. Meanwhile, the share price of Corporate Development Bank fell the most by 5.21 percent on the day.
On the basis of turnover, Laxmi Sunrise Bank topped the list on the day. Shares worth Rs 288.4 million were traded on the day. Similarly, shares of Reliance Spinning Mills worth Rs 175 million were traded on the day, while Ankhu Khola Jalvidhyut has crossed Rs 170 million.
On this day, the indices of all 13 sub-groups have increased. Among them, the trading sub-group index decreased the most by 2.60 percent. Likewise, the indices of the sub-groups of banking, development, finance, hotel and tourism, investment , life -insurance, Laghubitta and other increased by more than 1 percent on the day.
