On the day, the NEPSE index increased by 14.17 points to close at 2726.72 points. Likewise, the Sensitive Index increased by 0.98 points, while the Float Index increased by 0.73 points and the Sensitive Float Index increased by 0.29 points.
Despite the rise in the index, the day's turnover has decreased. A total of 10,177,222 units of shares worth Rs 4.69 billion were traded in 57,782 trades on the day.
Today, shares of Everest Color Limited were traded at a positive circuit level. The company's share price rose by Rs 73.80 to close at Rs 566.60 on the day. Similarly, the share price of Snow Rivers rose by more than 13.5 percent on the day, while the share price of Apollo Hydropower rose by 11 percent. Meanwhile, the share price of Kutheli Bukhari Small Hydropower Company fell by 15 percent on the day.
On the basis of turnover, Reliance Spinning Mills topped the list of volume on the day. The company's shares worth Rs 283.3 million were traded on the day. Similarly, shares worth Rs 275 milion of Ankhu Khola Hydropower were traded while shares of Ridi Power Company worth Rs 250 million were traded on the day.
Out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of 11 sub-groups have increased while the indices of two sub-groups have decreased. The index of the trading sub-group increased the most by 2.58 percent on the day. Similarly, the index of the hydropower sub-group increased by more than 1 percent on the day. On this day, the indices of investment and other sub-groups have decreased marginally.
