In the last FY, the bank has made a big jump in profit. The bank's net profit increased by 252.96 percent to Rs 851 million in the last FY from Rs 241.1 million in the previous FY. In the review period, the bank's net interest income increased by 7.53 percent to Rs 1.99 billion and operating profit increased by 108.50 percent to Rs 1.21 billion.
Due to improvement in loan recovery, the bank's impairment charge has come down to Rs 135 million from Rs 778.7 million in the previous year. As a result, the net profit of the bank has increased significantly. In the review period, the bank's earnings per share increased from Rs 6.65 to Rs 23.48.
Following the regulatory adjustments, the bank has strengthened its ability to distribute dividends to shareholders. The net distributable profit the last fiscal year stood at Rs 431.2 million. Including the accumulated profit of the previous fiscal year, the total distributable profit till the end of the last fiscal year was Rs 615.5 million. According to this, the distributable profit per share of the bank is Rs 16.99 as compared to Rs 5.09 in the previous FY.
At the end of the last FY, the bank's paid-up capital stood at Rs 3.62 billion. The bank's total equity stood at Rs 7.74 billion. The bank collected deposit of Rs 57.44 billion from its customers and extended loan to its customers stood at Rs 47.05 billion. The total assets of the bank stood at Rs 67.93 billion during the period.
