On this day, the sensitive index increased by 0.13 points, while the float index decreased by 0.40 points and the sensitive float index decreased by 0.19 points.
Although the NEPSE index has decreased, the transaction volume has increased on this day. On the day, a total of 9,754,403 units were traded amounting to Rs 4.2 billion.
On this day too, the shares of Mount Everest Power Development and Sarvottam Paints were traded at a positive circuit level. Likewise, share prices of First Microfinance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd and Bikash Hydropower Company Ltd surged over 7 percent on the day. Meanwhile, shares of Super Khudi Hydropower Ltd fell by 12.83 percent on the day.
On the basis of transaction amount, Agricultural Bonds (9 years) are at the top on this day. The bond worth Rs 708.7 million was traded on the day. Similarly, shares worth Rs 180 million of Khani Khola Hydropower were traded while the turnover of Liberty Energy Company crossed Rs 165 million.
Out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of four sub-groups have increased while the indices of nine sub-groups have decreased. The indices of life insurance, microfinance, mutual funds and other sub-groups increased on the day. The trading sub-group index decreased the most by 2.57 percent on the day.
