The Army's Directorate of Public Relations and Information stated that a military team was deployed as soon as information was received that this morning's flood in the river caused damage from areas like Timure and Syafrubesi to the downstream areas. Two army helicopters have landed in Trishuli Bazaar for search and rescue, according to the Directorate.
An emergency medical team has also reached at Trishuli District Hospital. Likewise, rescue teams from Dhunche and Trishuli Barracks have been deployed to the affected areas. Skilled personnel for disaster management have also been deployed from the Brigade 6 of the Army based in Gajuri, Dhading.(RSS)
