NRB Implements Government Transaction Directives, 2076

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has implemented Government Transaction Directives, 2076.

The central bank scrapped the earlier ‘Government Transaction Directives, 2071’ issued to ‘A’ level commercial banks and implemented the revised version of the directives from October 4.

According to the directives, the central bank has suspended 27 foreign accounts of Nepal Government including accounts of USA,  India, EU, UNICEF, UNESCO, NORAD, ADB, WHO, Foreign Loan and others.
