As per the data of Nepal Bankers Association, the deposit collection of commercial banks has decreased by Rs 35.31 million. In the meantime, their loan extensions has increased by Rs 36.12 billion.
In the month, NIC Asia Bank logged the highest decline in deposit collection which is Rs 13.89 billion followed by Rastriya Banijya Bank of Rs 10 billion.
Meanwhile, Himalayan Bank collected the highest deposits of Rs 14.60 billion followed by NMB Bank of Rs 4.87 billion.
In terms of loan extensions, Himalayan Bank increased its loan extensions by Rs 6.07 billion which is the highest among the banks. Meanwhile, loan extension of Rastriya Banijya Bank declined by 2.56 billion in the month.
