Finance Minister Janardan Sharma presented the bill for discussion in the meeting of the HoR held today.
Following a discussion, the meeting passed the Insurance Bill, 2079 BS with a majority.
Responding to the issues raised in the discussion on the bill, Finance Minister Sharma said that the Insurance Authority formed under the Insurance Bill will be made.
Moreover, he informed that the Insurance Bill has not intervened Health Insurance Act.
The Insurance Bill will be implemented once National Assembly and President approves the Bill.
