The joint entity of former Siddhartha and Premier Insurance has paid-up capital of Rs 2080 billion. In the meantime, Shikhar Insurance has paid-up capital of Rs 2.65 billion.
Currently, a total of 16 non-life insurance companies are operating in Nepal. Out of them, 14 are listed in NEPSE. The listed companies have earned Rs 9.87 billion in net insurance premium and Rs 3.53 billion in net profit.
Net Insurance Premium
In the review period, Neco Insurance has earned Rs 1.31 billion in net insurance premium which is the highest among the non-life insurance companies. Shikhar Insurance is right behind Shikhar with Rs 1.23 billion in net insurance premium and Rs 1.03 billion by Sagarmatha Insurance.
On the basis of total insurance premium, Shikhar Insurance earned the highest total insurance premium of Rs 4.15 billion.
Net Profit
Rastriya Beema Company has earned the highest net profit of Rs 686.4 million in the review period followed by Shikhar Insurance with Rs 343.1 million.
Meanwhile, Prudential insurance is at the bottom of the list in both net insurance premium and net profit. The company earned Rs 311.7 million in net insurance premium and Rs 100.3 million in net profit.
Reserve and Insurance Fund
During the period, Rastriya Beema Company has maintained the highest reserve and insurance fund. The company has Rs 3.72 billion in reserve and Rs 3.01 billion in insurance fund.
At the same time, Prabhu Insurance has the lowest reserve fund of Rs 194.2 million and Ajod Insurance has the lowest insurance fund of Rs 223.9 million.
EPS and Net worth
Rastriya Beema Company has once again topped the list in terms of EPS and Net worth per share.
The company has Rs 343.27 in EPS and Rs 1,498.32 in net worth per share.
