Insurance Companies Earn Rs 4.59 Bn by extending loan against Policies of Rs 82.69 Bn

In the third quarter of the current FY, life insurance companies have increased their earnings from loans against policies. The companies increased such income by 7.17 percent to Rs 4.59 billion during the period.

In the corresponding period of the last FY, it earned 4.28 billion income through loan against policies.

 In the review period, 17 life insurance companies operating in Nepal extended loan against policies of Rs 82.69 billion.

During the period, Nepal Life Insurance extend the highest loan of Rs 29.56 billion followed by LIC Nepal of Rs 21.49 billion and National Life Rs 10.05 billion.

Meanwhile, Reliable Nepal Life Insurance extended the lowest loan against policies of Rs 265.4 million.
