On the day, the NEPSE index decreased by 4.82 points to close at 2,598.89 points. Likewise, the Sensitive Index decreased by 2.02 points, while the Float Index decreased by 0.43 points and the Sensitive Float Index decreased by 0.65 points.
Although the NEPSE index decreased, the transaction volume has increased on this day. A total of 12,655,374 shares worth Rs 4.76 billion were traded in 47,900 trades of 352 stocks on the day.
Today, share price of Sindhu Bikas Bank rose by 14.37 percent on the day. Similarly, the share price of Sayapatri Hydropower has increased by 8.5 percent while the share price of Ghalemdi Hydropower has increased by 7.5 percent. Meanwhile, te decline rate of stocks that have fallen on this day is less than 4 percent.
On the basis of transaction amount, Ghalemdi Hydro is at the top position on the day. The company's shares worth Rs 394.8 million were traded on the day. Similarly, shares of People's Hydropower Company worth Rs 228 million were traded on the day, while Manjushree Finance Ltd traded promoter shares worth Rs 185 million.
Out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of three sub-groups have increased while the indices of 10 sub-groups have decreased. The index of the trading sub-group increased the most by 1.18 percent. Likewise, the hydropower and mutual fund sub-group indices increased marginally.
