The bank's net profit declined by 29.52 percent to Rs 2.63 billion in the last FY from Rs 3.73 billion in the corresponding period of the previous FY.
The bank earned a net interest income of Rs 9.12 billion as against Rs 9.44 billion in the previous FY. In the review period, the bank's operating profit stood at Rs 3.94 billion compared to Rs 5.21 billion in the previous FY. The bank's loan loss management increased to Rs 1.71 billion in the last FY from Rs 630.7 million in the previous year.
After the regulatory adjustments, the bank's distributable profit has contracted significantly. After the regulatory adjustment, the bank's net distributable profit stood at Rs 572.6 million in the last FY compared to Rs 2.43 billion in the previous FY. After adjusting the accumulated profit and cash dividend payment, the total distributable profit of the bank has increased to Rs 1.26 billion. Based on ordinary shareholders, the bank's distributable profit per share has been fixed at Rs 6.54.
The bank has a paid-up capital of Rs 19.73 billion with ordinary share capital of Rs 14.30 billion and preferred share capital of Rs 5.43 billion. The bank's total equity stood at Rs 38.90 billion.
The bank collected deposit of Rs 347.21 billion from its customers which was 18.36 percent higher than Rs 293.58 billion in the previous FY. Similarly, credit to customers reached Rs 247.14 billion which was 16.24 percent more than Rs 212.67 billion in the previous fiscal year.
